Have just had a very successful hip replacement. He is polite, professional and most importantly honest. I will most definitely recommend this surgeon and in time trust him with my arthritic knee.

Mr Kalairajah was welcoming and honest, straight talking and articulate. He made great use of time and was efficient with feedback and instructions as well as checking for understanding. He answered questions fully and provided detail when I asked for it, or answers to any queries I raised. After my initial consultation (which was not part of the One Hatfield package for self funding patients) I saw him two months later only for a few minutes shortly before the hip replacement procedure, when I signed the consent form. The operation was very stress-free and there were no after effects. The wound was clean and healed well. Rehabilitation was straightforward. After that, I saw him again after 6 weeks in order to be assessed for discharge. I am sure that many patients feel, as I do, that this very dedicated and expert surgeon has given them their lives back after becoming used to pain and immobility as a way of life.

Mr Kalairajah carried out a full replacement of my left knee to deal with longstanding pain from arthritis. I found him to be friendly and straightforward in taking care to fully explain the procedure and ensure that I had a good understanding of the benefits and risks. I found the book he had produced about knee issues and surgical remedies particularly useful. He answered all my questions and prompted me to ask some that had not occurred to me. Both he and his team made me feel very important to them. Six weeks after the surgery I am pain free and can largely do all that I hoped to be able to do.

Yegappan Kalairajah carried out full replacement surgery of my right hip in January this year. From my initial consultation with Yega back in 2021, I found his style and approach to be empathetic, straightforward and clear. I had a sense that there wasn't much Yega hadn't seen or done in the world of hip replacements. He was always happy to answer any questions or concerns I had regarding the procedure. He was also keen to ensure I understood the pros and cons of having the surgery. He managed my expectations re: outcome, recovery timeframes as well as for the longer-term. I have no hesitation in recommending Yega. I thank him for fixing my hip.
